2021 Massican Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley

2021 Massican Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley

The 2021 Massican Sauvignon Blanc is a ripe wine with a perfume of musk, jasmine, and lime peel. Shimmery front-of-palate acidity gives way to a weighty midsection and flavors that mingle citrus and tropical fruits, especially passion fruit. The finish is crisp and scintillant.

Balanced, restrained, characterful — and terrific with my garden’s current abundance of asparagus, lightly steamed.

13% ABV | $32 (sample)

Maybe it needed a few extra weeks to settle. I got a much more herbal/grassy profile than you did.

Second bottle will wait for a bit.
