2013 Rotari Brut Rosé Trentodoc

“Pastel onion-skin pink, with great cut and freshness...”

2013 Rotari Brut Rosé Trentodoc

Another vintage-dated, traditional method sparkler from Rotari, this time a brut rosé of 75 percent Pinot Noir and 25 percent Chardonnay, aged 24 months on lees and disgorged in 2016. The body is pastel onion-skin pink, with very fine, clean bubbles spiriting a fragrance of strawberries, yellow melon, Meyer lemon. This brut rosé offers more cut and freshness than the Chardonnay-based brut, with a cleansing perlage that mingles a juicy hint of bitterness and leesy savoriness with its suggestions of strawberries and citrus. Tasty and a great value.
