2013 Rotari Brut Trentodoc

“Decadent white flowers, citrus pith, brioche, and stony minerality...”

2013 Rotari Brut Trentodoc

A traditional method Brut, vintage-dated, made from Chardonnay. The wine aged on its lees 24 months and was disgorged in 2016. Its body is pale yellow with tiny bubbles issuing a scent ripe with decadent white flowers, citrus pith and zest, and touches of stony minerality. It’s dry but not too, with a velvet-textured mousse suggesting nut and brioche. Not sharp or zesty—more creamy, leesy, rich and rounded. An ample style and impressive for $20. (Check out Rotari’s 2013 Brut Rosé, too.)
