2019 Bellenda San Fermo Brut Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore

Brisk and minerally Prosecco

2019 Bellenda San Fermo Brut Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG

Fruit for Bellenda’s vintage Brut sparkler is grown at 180 meters elevation on vines trained to a mix of the historic Sylvoz trellising and double-arched cane. The wine ages sur lie in tank from one to three months before bottling with 6.5 g/L of residual sugar. The result is a crunchy, mineral-driven wine offering fresh citrus and tree fruits. There’s a slight note of brioche, but the core is mostly shiny, sharp, and tart, and the fizz quietly underlines the crystalline acidity. A bracing companion to picnic fare.
