2015 Tongue Dancer Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast

Fruit-driven Sonoma Pinot Noir

2015 Tongue Dancer Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast

A small-batch Sonoma Pinot, with only 35 cases made. Fruit was hand picked, hand sorted, de-stemmed and fermented in an open-top vessel with daily punchdowns. The wine aged 17 months on lees in French oak and was released filtered but not fined.

It’s a ripe wine, with an effulgent, rosy fragrance, very concentrated, commingling raspberries and purple flowers. The firm acidity but modest tannins carry sweet-hot sensations of black plums and ripe cranberry-raspberry, while sharp red grapefruit washes through the finish.

A wine with big personality; pair it with simple roasts of light meats and poultry or medium-aged cheeses.

14.5% abv | $49 (sample), 35 cases made
