2015 Tenuta Sant’Antonio Scaia Garganega-Chardonnay Delle Venezie

Substantial white blend mixing native and international grapes

2015 Tenuta Sant'Antonio Scaia Garganega-Chardonnay Delle Venezie IGT
A big wine in all respects. It’s brilliant yellow with green glints and effuses a powerful perfume of jasmine and lime, citrus peels, honeydew. The body is substantial, an explosion of lemon-lime juice and pith but finishing with a bitter kick.

It’s an all-stainless blend of 50 percent Garganega, 30 percent Trebbiano Soave, and 20 percent Chardonnay. Treat it as you might a ripe New World Sauvignon Blanc, serving it with bloomy goat cheese, shellfish, or citrusy sauces.

12.5% abv | $12 (sample) Imported by Dalla Terra
