2014 Elena Walch Schiava Alto Adige

“Strident, precise, and vertical.”

2014 Elena Walch Schiava Alto Adige
Gorgeous pale garnet color and very limpid, like a deep rosé. The wine has a fragrance of fresh woodland herbs and mountain air, and the body is strident, precise, and vertical, with flavors of tart strawberry plus crystalline acidity. Virtually no tannic structure; the wine is mostly about clarity and light.
