2015 Whitehall Lane Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley

Relaxed, friendly, and calming

2015 Whitehall Lane Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley

About two-thirds of the fruit was fermented in stainless while the remainder was treated to new French oak—but not for long, only six weeks. The blend includes 9 percent Sémillon for stone fruit friendliness.

It’s not as zesty as some of its peers, softer with slightly less nerve. The aromas are like citrus-soaked white peaches sprinkled with nutmeg, and the fruit overall feels like a mouthful of plush melon and yellow apple and pale citrus. A wine to calm the palate after the salty, sharp, or hot.
