Well-heeled and ripe but not frothy, with a scent like an orchard soaked in herbs. Topical fruits (pineapple, passion fruit, citrus) mingle with tree fruits, especially pear, and cultured cream. A wine with substantial body, which balances the fruit and herbs and milk. It’s cooling, almost wintergreen, as it departs.
Good with rich cheeses, fish, poultry, buttery pasta, or alone.
