2021 Domaine Anderson Estate and Dach Vineyard Pinot Noirs

Bright and snappy Pinot noirs from Anderson Valley

2021 Domaine Anderson Estate Pinot Noir Anderson Valley

Domaine Anderson follows CCOF certified organic farming and uses some biodynamic practices. Pale and shiny, this Estate Pinot has a ruby robe and a fragrance of cherries, sandalwood, and forest floor. Light textured, the palate offers raspberry fruit and lingering juiciness. I admire this direct, clean-fruited style of Pinot. 13.9% ABV | $55 (sample)

2021 Domaine Anderson Pinot Noir Dach Vineyard Anderson Valley

Dach Vineyard is a 17.5 acre parcel that surrounds the winery facility at Domaine Anderson. It is Demeter certified biodynamic. This wine is pale cherry color with a clear rim and aromas of ripe black raspberry. Unlike the Estate, it leans toward fruit rather than spice, earth, or incense. The flavors suggest dark fruits that have a pleasant bitterness, like blackberries and their seeds. The texture is lightweight, with a cleansing bite at the finish. 13.8% ABV | $75 (sample)
