Like the winery’s Santa Barbara Pinot Noir, this Chardonnay mixes estate fruit with grapes grown in nearby vineyards, including Bien Nacido and Solomon Hills. Aromatically it’s slightly reductive, with a pronounced mineral-flint note struck atop a sense of cream, yellow apple, and sea breeze. The body is sappy and succulent with a juicy midsection but ample finishing texture. Not available on the winery’s website; you’ll have to score it in a shop.
