Hogue Cellars Washington Cabernet Sauvignon

Lots of herbs and piny aromas on the nose—also lots of alcohol (14.6%). The color is bright, claret red, despite the four years of aging. Cherry, bramble fruits, lavender, basil, and smoke on the palate. Really serious in some ways, and fun in others.
