2014 Terre Rouge Easton Zinfandel Amador County

The fruit was grown in Amador on rolling foothill terrain, and the wine spent ten months in French oak barriques. The fragrance is plummy and fresh, with a pine woods top note and a rustic earthy core. It suggests black and red bramble fruits and tart blueberries, with a finishing flare of cranberry and tea. A classic Zinfandel commingling of blue and red fruits in a light-bodied, friendly, well-priced wine.
