The wine’s robe is a limpid ruby color with blue glints, quite youthful looking. Its fragrance is evocative of the best cool climate Pinot, suffused with rose hips, hibiscus, raspberries, and oregano. The palate is tart and linear in a forthright way, and the wine is un-freighted by oak barrel. It does carry that faint tint of leafiness I want in Chilean Pinot.
It’s a good food wine, and the price is right.
