Central Coast Chardonnay: Ripeness and Zest

This ripe region yields wines to please all palates

For Tasting Panel Magazine, I recently tasted a slew of 2014 and 2015 Central Coast Chardonnays in broad release. The best were ripe but not overt, and I was especially grateful for those made with ambient yeasts and minimal handling to preserve freshness.
