Uncomplicated and fruity, this varietal Tempranillo was grown on vines that are more than 50 years old. It’s youthful looking, brilliant red, and the body is bright with a pop of cherries and cracked pepper. Somewhat aggressive tannins make it feel muscular at the finish.
A solid wine for $10. Pair with peppery cured meats, aged sheep’s milk cheeses, a scattering roasted almonds.

Wow. $10!
I had not heard of this winery, but was favorably intrigued by several of your notes.
There is solid value here.
