This varietal Loureiro has about seven grams of residual sugar that add flesh to the grape’s briny essence. There are notes of laurel, grass, fresh meadow, and green peels, but the wine also feels satiny, with a long, flaxen finish. As with all of the Aphros still wines, this Vinho Verde is not spritzy.
