2014 Anton Bauer Pinot Noir Wagram DAC

“Clean lines, stylish...”

2014 Anton Bauer Pinot Noir Wagram DAC

Aromas of roses (floral), rose hips (bitter), pomegranate (tart), pink peppercorns (piquant), and something like wet rust. Not effusive and not sweet, more like dark field flowers dotted with harvest fruit. Its savory lean lines across the tongue read like green tea spiked with hibiscus. It has good but not piercing acidity, and its combination of savoriness and tea-earthiness and black fruits makes it feel clear-eyed and stylish.

Great with a wide range of foods and delicious on its own. An excellent European Pinot for the price.
