2016 Brooks Winery White Blend Amycas Willamette Valley

Spiced stone fruits and white flowers

2016 Brooks Winery White Blend Amycas Willamette Valley
A blend of Riesling, Muscat, Pinot Blanc, Gewürztraminer, and Pinot Gris, biodynamically grown, pressed, and stainless steel fermented. Its flowery fragrance suggests orchard blossoms, apricots, and spice cake, and its light-textured framework suggests apple-skin and pears. The Gewürz is only 10 percent of the blend but its strong personality, along with the stone-fruitiness of Muscat, makes the wine feel juicy and spicy, like a chutney. Great with a mixed cheese course.
