2019 Frank Family Vineyards Chardonnay Carneros

Frank Family sources the Chardonnay for this bottling from a range of estates in cool-climate Carneros. The wine was barrel fermented and aged for eight months in French oak, one-third new. The result is a creamy, opulent Chardonnay, but it delivers a parting shot of acidity at the finish. The flavors offer lemon curd and custard ornamented by fresh thyme. The wine demands food: Try roasted poultry or salmon or rich, creamy cheeses.
