2014 Macphail Family Wines Pinot Noir Wightman House Anderson Valley

A varietal Pinot Noir with a flowery perfume (wild roses, pink petals), on-point for the ripe California style. A whiff of barrel toast adds interest. Good tannins—surprising tannins!—add drying astringency, while sweet fruits saturate the finish.
