What a Color

Vinavera
Rosé Napa Valley
2005

This wine is deep pink, the color of tourmaline or rhodolite garnet. It smells like berries and straw and tastes like strawberries. It's fulsome for a rosé, and though it's dry it fills your palate with perfume. Most rosés we've had have been astringent, simple, and pale (think Tavel). This one's different. We like it.

Price: $12
